Some users apparently received early advertising content for the third season of CoD: Modern Warfare via email.
At the heart of the message is a teaser picture that reveals a few new details and also confirms reports about a new operator. Here the picture via Twitter of the CoD fansite Charlie Intel:
A promotional email from Call of Duty appears to have gone out early, and it shows a skin for Alex, the new operator for Season 3. pic.twitter.com/gGkekILopf

The poster reads: »Join the fight for Season 3! Operators return, new equipment is delivered, and worlds collide. The third season is coming for multiplayer, special ops and warzone. «From this you can already derive some new information.
What the picture reveals
Alex (aka Echo 3-1) actually returns:
As already suspected, the hero believed dead from the single player campaign becomes a new MP operator. in the Promo artwork he can be seen with a prosthetic leg – apparently he was seriously injured but not killed.
Alex gets a special skin:
You can see an outfit for Alex with a helmet and mask. This is apparently the Tier 100 skin from the new Battle Pass for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. In Season 2, Ghost also received such an operator skin at the highest level as a figurehead.
The co-op is finally being expanded:
After there was no new content for the Spec-Ops mode in Season 2, the new image finally promises replenishment. The rather weak co-op mode has been treated comparatively neglectfully since the release and was only reluctantly expanded.
Season 3 is just around the corner
What we know so far about the release date, new weapons and the Battle Pass, you can read in our large overview of CoD: MW Season 3.
In terms of map replenishment, it was recently announced that the leaked new map does not come from MW3 as originally assumed.
