Horror is no longer horror when you’ve already been scared by a hundred horror games. That’s where a terrifyingly atmospheric game comes in handy. The trailer for Vorax is disturbing with grotesque design in a dense atmosphere.
Also included: A completely unsettling look at Planet Coaster 2 and the return of Gladiator, almost a quarter of a century in coming. Enjoy our trailers of the week!
We would also be happy to receive your vote to finalize the GameStar tests in July:

Planet Coaster 2: Successor to the popular theme park simulation announced
We promised you disturbing horrorand first of all there is the most colorful sugar packet since the invention of Skittles. In our defense: The announcement trailer for Planet Coaster 2 simply belongs in the trailer show, measured solely by the success of the first part.
You won’t see any real gameplay here, but you can at least get a glimpse of the tone. Big surprise: It will be cute, cuddly, colorful and light-hearted again, at least in terms of style.
The wonderful Steffi sums up everything that is included in the game for you:

Here is the first trailer for Gladiator 2: Back to the Colosseum
24 long years ran through the hourglasssince Ridley Scott’s Gladiator hit theaters in 2000 and thrilled audiences. Now the sequel is approaching, which you can watch in the trailer above. The cinema release date has been set for November 14, 2024.
The main role in Gladiator 2 is played by Irish actor Paul Mescal as Lucius – the same Lucius who, in the first part, had to watch as a spectator as his uncle died at the hands of Maximus (Russell Crowe). Other roles include Pedro Pascal and Connie Nielsen.

Vorax: Survival horror game shows its scary open world in the trailer
A little bit of a scare, all well and good: But who still feels real, naked, oppressive fear in a video game? Even disturbed because the atmosphere is so dense and the monsters are so scary? Like in the first Resi, if you happen to be around 40 or have plundered your parents’ PS1 collection.
The trailer for Vorax creates this dark magic for us. However, be careful with the trailer above if you are a sensitive soul.
By the way, if we can believe an insider, Resident Evil is about to undergo a drastic change:
Back to Vorax: It says survival horror on the packaging, so you don’t just have to run from jump scare to jump scare, but above all find resources that are vital to survival. On an open-world island, where the work of some bio-botchers has obviously gone badly wrong and the gruesome results are shambling around freely. There are plenty of mutated zombies, but also huge mountains of horror flesh.
Vorax from the Italian developer and publisher IndieGala will be released on Steam on July 18, 2024, initially in Early Access. A price has not yet been communicated.
