It feels like you can’t wait to play Dragon’s Dogma 2? Well, you probably don’t have to, because it looks like a demo might be in the works.
After a long wait, the highly sought-after sequel “Dragon’s Dogma 2” finally launched a month later. The thing is, when you’re so close to a game’s release, you often find yourself thinking “Okay, but can I play it now?” Unfortunately, however, Dragon’s Dogma 2’s release date isn’t moving forward ! As spotted by some fans on the game’s Reddit subreddit, an update added to the game’s backend on Steam seems to indicate that a demo may be coming soon. As seen on SteamDB, Dragon’s Dogma 2’s changelist shows a new “unknown application,” with further inspection revealing its billing type is described as “Free on Demand.”

To be clear, Dragon’s Dogma 2’s billing type itself is described as “Store or CD Key,” so the purportedly free new app may indeed mean a demo – or at least some sort of free downloadable app program. It wouldn’t be surprising if the game does have a demo. Many Capcom games now have demos, including last year’s Resident Evil 4, and most importantly, the original Dragon’s Dogma also has a demo, so you can give this classic RPG a try.
Alex, who had the chance to play the game himself last year, wrote: “It’s really good stuff. Same goes for the original. If this game is anything like that, it’s the better, feature-rich version of the original Dragons A more complete version of “Dogma Vision is set in a larger, more interactive open world… and I’m happy with that. Sometimes iteration isn’t simplistic; in fact, it’s often the smart thing to do. ”
Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be released on March 22 and is scheduled to be released on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
