It’s hard to believe it happened more than a decade since the launch of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, one of the few video games that has managed to extend its life across three generations of consoles alongside GTA V. In addition, let’s remember that it has even been available in refrigerators. Microsoft was in charge of making it a reality.
Needless to say, we’ve all had plenty of time to explore its huge map and discover many secrets. However, the user u/einfachnurchris on Reddit had a much less mysterious, but far from simple, goal: increase all skills to Level 100. It achieved this after 11 years on legendary difficulty, in the PS5 version and without adding any mods.
In case you didn’t know, Skyrim has 18 independent skills which form one of the best progression systems ever made. Why? Bethesda Game Studios got it right by including a very intuitive and logical progression method: each skill is increased with use. If you want to improve in bow, magic or strength, you have to perform actions that have to do with each one.
This means that einfachnurchris has had to put in a good amount of hours and come up with certain strategies to speed up progress. If you want some advice, take a look at the comments box because there are several players commenting on how to advance in the different skill branches. In many cases, the secret lies in repetition that can lead to madness.
