The whereabouts of the Triforce Zelda: Breath of the Wild The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been a sticking point for some, but one player may have discovered this.
While the Triforce is clearly the most recognizable symbol in the Zelda series, it isn’t always that important to the main story of some games. Breath of the Wild and Kingdom Tears are two such games, both displaying the Triforce symbol at certain points in their respective games, but the thing itself doesn’t actually appear. It’s barely mentioned in the game, and in fact, there are probably not many Zelda games in which the Triforce feels as unimportant as it does. However, as spotted by GamesRadar, one user on Reddit discovered something interesting.
Until all dragons have a part of the Triforce on their backs

As you can see in the post shared to the Kingdom Tears subreddit above, there are three images showing Kingdom Tears’ three dragons: Dinraal, Naydra, and Farosh. Interestingly, as user TheMathNut who shared the image described it, “About half of each elemental dragon is part of the Triforce. I think that’s neat because I’ve always thought of three dragons as symbolizing three goddesses.” Unsurprisingly, this post has proven popular on the game’s subreddit, as this little Easter egg is a bit hard to spot – I spent a lot of time growing scales on those dragons’ backs and never noticed it.

Obviously, these triangles are more of a reference to the Triforce than the almighty wish-granter itself, but it’s still a cool little detail that most fans won’t notice. Unfortunately, something like this is unlikely to be explored further, as Nintendo has stated that it has no plans to provide DLC for Kingdom Tears, so it will always just be a fun homage to the series’ most striking imagery.
