Gaming News “It’s a horror movie” This player completely ruined Red Dead Redemption 2 by changing these two elements, it really is hell!
While they wait for a possible PS5 and Xbox Series 2 version, Red Dead Redemption 2 players are having as much fun as they can by creating sometimes unusual mods. This is the case of this Internet user who has changed an aspect of the base game and the result is terrifying, bordering on a horror game!
While everyone eagerly awaits Grand Theft Auto VI, Red Dead Redemption II remains the last major production from Rockstar Games to release. And yet, despite its success, the title still couldn’t be ported to the PS5 and Xbox Series, while Grand Theft Auto V was. Better yet, the additions to the PS5 and Xbox versions of GTA 5 will be ported to the PC version, which is saying something! Despite this lack of monitoring from Rockstar, this does not stop players from playing it and having fun, sometimes changing some parameters of the game that make it scary.
A mod that is as frightening as it is hilarious
On the subreddit dedicated to video games, namely R/Gaming, A user named Blurbss posted a clip of his playing Red Dead Redemption 2 that was amazing to say the least. In fact, he explains that he modified the game to ensure that horses and chariots travel at supersonic speeds… making them deadly in the event of impact on the player.. This makes RDR 2 a true horror game, as you can be killed at any time and so quickly that it’s like a jump-scaring horror experience. Despite the surprising side of the matter, This mod is also hilarious, as many Internet users point out in the comments. “It’s really stupid. But I’m still laughing” says Nailbunny2000 about his comment that received the most likes.
Rockstar prefers GTA over Red Dead?
As a reminder: We recently learned that Red Dead Redemption 2 has sold more than 67 million copies worldwide in 2024. Enough to make it the sixth best-selling video game of all time, especially behind its big brother GTA 5, which has sold a whopping 205 million copies since its release in 2013. And yet despite this popularity: RDR 2 doesn’t seem to have received as much care from Rockstar as its predecessor. In addition to the lack of a port to current consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series, the Red Dead Online experience had no right to such a sustained sequel. We hope things will be rectified with the next episode that might be released after GTA 6.
