Is FromSoftware playing with the fragile hearts of Bloodborne fans or preparing a nice surprise for them? The producer continues his strange teasing.
Bloodborne remake. Two words enough to make an entire community dream. Players dream of it, demand it with heart and soul: They want a return of the Victorian Souls-like in 60 fps and 4K on PS5 and PC. The rumors about a possible portage persisted and were then dashed. There is still nothing in sight and according to a reliable source in the past, such a project would be considered, but we should focus more on the PS6 than the current generation. While FromSoftware waited for a possible announcement, it clearly found a way to satisfy the community’s hunger. What if there was a bit of Bloodborne in the Elden Ring DLC?
Does Bloodborne dance to the Elden Ring?
FromSoftware does it again. The Japanese studio caused a stir last week with a simple image revealing a new monster you can encounter in Elden Ring Shadow of the Earthtree. A great illustration, but one that provoked strong reactions for something completely different: the enemy in question looks exactly like the winter lanterns. Horrific creatures that would literally drive anyone who had the audacity to look at them a little too closely insane. It might have been a simple coincidence, as Elden Ring producer Yasuhiro Kitao has shared a new image that looks exactly like Bloodborne.
Not a single, not a single legend, but that has never stopped the community from speculating. However, everything indicates that it is one of the new dungeons in the Elden Ring DLC, which could then recapture the gothic atmosphere so characteristic of Bloodborne. If we brighten the image, we can see some details, such as statues that look like griffins or dragons, and even hanging cages, one of which is destroyed. Some players believe there will be more flying enemies in the Elden Ring DLC, but that remains just a theory.
Will the expansion really contain a bit of Blooborne, or at least the atmosphere to keep fans waiting? Answer on June 21st with the release of Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, or perhaps a little earlier during the Summer Game Fest when FromSoftware is preparing a real surprise.
