Final Fantasy 16 aux Game Awards 2022
On December 8th, the biggest games of the year will be celebrated during the Annual Gathering, which features rewards and big announcements. Gamers are obviously waiting to discover new games, but the next hits of 2023 will make the show. Several rumors suggested that Final Fantasy 16 would be present at the celebrations and open its pre-orders for the occasion. It is now confirmed in half words.
The official Game Awards 2022 account has confirmed that Naoki Yoshida will be present on the occasion for a “special live presentation” next Thursday. That leaves little room for doubt, the release date of FF16 should be revealed there. The game’s producer actually said a few days ago that it would be announced by the end of the year. As explained by Tom Henderson, a new trailer is planned for the occasion, with the focus on opening pre-orders.
It remains to be seen whether Final Fantasy 16 will be released in the summer of 2023 or whether the developers want to delay or even bring forward its arrival. As a reminder, the game producer revealed that Final Fantasy 16 was already 95% in development. It only remained to refine it. However, we know that the game should be the most mature of the saga. Explicit sex scenes, prostitution, drugs, the title couldn’t be put together.
