Game news It’s not called “Sifu”! One of the best French video games of 2022 will release a new mode
Do you remember Sifu? Released last year on PC and PlayStation consoles and later on Nintendo Switch and Xbox, it was one of the most hyped action games for many reasons. Know that it offers a new mode of the most generous just to make it even more solid than it already was.
The more we are (so) crazy, the more we laugh
After a notable passage on Absolver in 2017, the Sloclap studio decided to further improve its formula with Sifu, which was noticed immediately after the announcement as it was directly highlighted by Sony during its State of Play: The concept is simple, pay homage to kung fu and all martial arts works through a 3D fighting game with ultra-nervous gameplay.
From the brutal finishing moves, to the numerous tricky animations, to the actual concept, which relies on a mysterious dose of the supernatural – the hero ages every time he is defeated, gaining strength but losing vitality – Sifu proved to be very good . At JV we gave it a 16/20 rating and the best part is that over time the app has offered additional content such as: B. a new level of difficulty, new outfits or gameplay modifiers.
Today, it’s the arena mode presented by a new trailerfound at the top of our video player.
i need more strength
The mode has already been announced, but now it reappears with a new trailer and some additional details: arenas allow you to play fists in closed areas and nothing else. Everything we love, finally: 9 different locations are made available, including never-before-seen areas such as a helipad or a night spot in the pouring rain.
Even better, multiple modes are offered via arenas. For example, there’s Survival mode, which requires resisting as many enemy waves as possible, or Performance mode, which pushes for perfection; We can also mention the Time Attack and its countdown, or the Capture mode, which requires you to stay in a delimited area for a certain amount of time. There’s also Manhunt mode, in which you have to take out a specific target surrounded by protectors.
The French developers promise up to ten hours of extra gaming fun: a real chunk of it completely free, since it’s a simple update and not a paid extension. Note that this happensa March 28, concurrent with the Xbox version, the only platform where the title has not yet been offered. No Game Pass in the program, but the game is already available for pre-order on Microsoft machines via the store.
