When we talk about the best Nintendo GameCube games, several titles immediately come to mind. There is one that is often forgotten despite its great qualities: Killer 7. This Capcom app is an action game in which the player plays a character who has unusual abilities. His brain houses 7 personalities. The goal of the game is to use them wisely to fight against a demonic entity that controls the city. Each has specific characteristics and weapons and you can switch between them at any time depending on the situation and enemies to be defeated.
The plot of Killer 7 is still praised today by those who managed to complete the title. Reminiscent of films by Tsukamoto Shinya, Lars Von Trier, David Lynch, the films of Miike and even James Mangold, Killer 7 is a work that is surreal, strange and absurd at the same time. Although its gameplay is still controversial, it remains like the game as a whole, which presupposes its choices, both artistic and technical. You will have understood that Killer 7 is not a game like the others and it stood out in both the GameCube game library and Capcom productions of the time. Killer 7: Beyond
As spotted on the X/Twitter account Wario64it is accessible during a round table here that Shinji Mikami, whom we know from the Resident Evil saga, said he would like Suda51 to make a sequel to Killer 7.
Suda : I would prefer to do a full edit first. First a full edition, then killer11… I don’t know, probably ‘Killer 7 something’. Maybe ‘Killer 7: Beyond’
