Japan will receive a range of cosmetic products around the character of Kirby, Nintendo's adorable pink ball that Masahiro Sakurai created during his years at HAL Laboratory. This is a collaboration with a cosmetic company, Lovisia, that will offer lipstick, eye shadow and a mirror in a kit that, unsurprisingly, focuses on different shades of pink.
The Kirby's Dream Land lipstick is offered in three colors: pink, beige and coral. Each lipstick has its own design by Kirby and is sold separately at a price of 1000 yen each (about 8.5 euros)
The eyeshadow is offered in eight colors different in star-shaped packaging. Each color also has a specific Kirby design. They are priced at 1800 yen each (about 15 euros).
Finally, the makeup mirror With a rubber exterior it sells for 800 yen (about 6.5 euros).
All these products are already on sale in Japan and for now their possible distribution in other markets has not been confirmed. Kirby is one of the Nintendo characters with the most products in the form of accessories, clothing and the like, as its popularity in Japan is enormous, including a successful themed coffee maker, the Kirby Caf, in the city of Tokyo.
In fact, this year a range of figures and key chains has also been announced thanks to the collaboration with Banpresto and, presumably, like every year, we will see many more special products with Kirby as the main protagonist.
