This adaptation of a satirical manga that treats Power Rangers-style heroes as the big villains of the story is coming soon to Disney+.

The new hit anime from Disney+?

Always with the aim of strengthening its anime catalog, Disney+ is preparing for spring 2024 with great exclusives. After Bleach – Thousand Year Blood War, Tengoku Daimakyou, Time Shadow or Undead Unluck, the company’s streaming platform is preparing with big ears to broadcast a new anime that will follow exactly: the adaptation of Sentai Daishikkaku, in English as Go! known. Go! Loser Rangers! or No Longer Rangers in France. No Longer Rangers is originally a manga by Negi Haruba, author of the romantic comedy The Quintessential Quintuplets, which swaps impossible loves for a satirical series dedicated to the Super Sentai, those Japanese superheroes popularized by tokusatsu series such as Kamen Rider, Ultraman or Power Rangers were made popular.

Spring release

With No Longer Rangers, Negi Haruba deviates from the classic Super Sentai narrative and offers us a darker story in which the heroes are not what they claim to be. In our time, the Dragon Keepers team protects humanity from the incessant invasions of the evil army. But in reality, the evil overlord was defeated over a decade ago, and our heroes use the remaining enemies to fool the audience into believing they are still defending Earth. Tired of this deception, a soldier decides to take down the super team by infiltrating their organization.

With its original take on the genre, No Longer Rangers has what it takes to shine on its upcoming release. The anime was entrusted to the Yostar studio and Keiichi Sâto, who notably directed another successful superhero anime: Tiger & Bunny. To discover No Longer Rangers, you’ll have to go to Disney+ from April 7, 2024 at best. As we know, the platform tends to wait until the end of the Japanese broadcast to release the episodes. Aside from that, you can now find the manga published by Pika in France, which currently has 5 volumes.
