The American actor was the protagonist of the first film and one of the main antagonists in the second installment. Now, he will return to the saga once again to reprise his unforgettable role as Kevin Flynn.
It was Bridges himself who, in an interview with the American media Film Content, has confirmed his return to the saga. He revealed that he will begin filming this weekend. However, he emphasized that, although his character is central to the story, the focus will be on Jared Leto.
“I’m going to the studio this Saturday to start filming. It’s wild. Jared Leto is the star of this third film and I am very eager to work with him; I am a big fan of his work.”
Although Bridges had an excellent performance in the first Tron movie, many fans were not completely satisfied with his character in the second installment, as he was rejuvenated with special effects and his appearance was somewhat strange.
