Followers of The Last of Us have been through different moods in recent weeks. Due to the global health alert, the game's sequel was delayed until further notice. So sadness at the time has turned to joy after the official release date of The Last of Us Part II has been confirmed. For the first time we will control a more adult Ellie, but as has already been seen in a trailer Joel also returns on this adventure. He was one of the most anticipated characters and even has a life size bust made by a fan.
Joel is like a father to Ellie and this emotional relationship brought tears to the toughest players. An artist named Reyhabeas has worked for 4 months on a bust life size of the character. He shared the result in his personal Twitter account for Naughty Dog to see. This incredible figure is based on the what Joel looks like in the new gameThat is, with obvious symptoms of the passage of time on his face. Everything completely handmade, it has a clay base although it has in mind to paint the sculpture. Does it look alike or not?
My Handmade Life-Sized Bust of Joel! A four month ongoing project. I figured you guys deserved a much needed update, so I hope you guys like it so far.
In the coming days I will mold and cast it. More updates to come!
