Xbox, CD Projekt Red and Limbitless Solutions have joined forces to bring the iconic figure of Johnny Silverhand Cyberpunk 2077 Fix the real world.
The non-profit organization Limbitless Solutions collaborated with Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red and Xbox to create a real version of the bionic arm belonging to Johnny Silverhand of Keanu Reeves.
Originally shared on Xbox Wire, it was revealed that these Johnny Silverhand-inspired prostheses will be donated to adults participating in clinical trials in the coming year.
In a behind-the-scenes video, we showed how Limbitless Solutions created a prosthesis and gave a brief overview of its functions.
These arms are designed to provide patients who need them with more affordable and accessible limbs that can hold objects and perform gestures.
“We have brought a lot of human expression to prosthetics, which can help people better manage their lives,” Limbitless Solutions’ Remy Marasa explained in the video.
In the past, we have seen companies collaborate with game developers to create other biological limbs, the most famous of which is Konami’s Metal Gear Solid V-arm.
“Knowing that you can play video games, be inspired by characters, love every part of it, and when you wear one of these arms, you will become that character. It’s really an awesome feeling,” Marasa noted Bopunk 2077 arm.
As the controversy surrounding CD Projekt Red’s game continues to spread-around the mandatory crunch around the six-day work week, countless errors, and conversations about images that may trigger seizures-it is great to see that the release of the game brings some positive influences.
