As previously stated, Sony was not spared from this situation and players are still waiting for the PS5 presentation (to the general public). according to a journalist, this last approach is fast approaching.

The virtual presentation event of the PlayStation 5 would be "currently scheduled for Thursday, June 4" next. This is in any case what Jeff Grubb, journalist for the American site VentureBeat, says on the forum Reset.
Even if that does not confirm anything, and if it remains necessary to take this information with the tweezers of rigor, it should be recalled that this same Jeff Grubb had revealed the dates of the last two online presentations of Nintendo (Indie World and Nintendo Direct Mini) several days before their official announcement.
As Jeff Grubb points out, this would be the date "currently" chosen by Sony. With the world situation evolving almost daily, it is not impossible that things will continue to evolve by then.
The latest news, the marketing of the PS5 is still expected for the end of this year. Sony cannot therefore postpone the presentation of its new console forever.
