It looks like Tom Holland’s 2026 booking is pretty much booked, at least in terms of press tours, as Spider-Man 4 reportedly just got a release date.
Just the other day, news broke that Tom Holland will star in an as-yet-untitled and still very mysterious film directed by Christopher Nolan, which may be about vampires in the early 20th century. While the movie is still shrouded in mystery, its release date is almost certainly July 17, 2026, which means Holland will be very busy that month, as The Hollywood Reporter now says that Disney and Marvel has now set a release date as well. The untitled “Spider-Man 4” will be released on July 24, 2026, one week after the release of Nolan’s new film. Bratbuster summer anyone- no it’s ok I’ll go out on my own and I’m not happy about that either.

The Hollywood Reporter also says that Destin Daniel Cretton is now officially attached to direct the project as well, which has been reported before, but I guess it’s always good to keep things locked in! This keeps Cretton very busy, as he’s supposed to be working on Shang-Chi 2, and he’s also working on a live-action Naruto adaptation, so we probably don’t expect one of those two to be available Released immediately after the movie’s release. The executives who make them want them to.
The Hollywood Reporter also noted that Holland is going to have a very busy time as well — as noted, he’s set to star in Nolan’s next film, which is expected to film sometime next year, and the actor It was recently confirmed that Spider-Man 4 will be filmed next in the summer, not to mention the possibility of him appearing in Avengers: Doomsday. Well, you know what they say; Spider will do whatever it takes to fit it all into his busy schedule!
