In a short video they announce Avalanche Studios Group unnamed Avalanche Studios (Just Cause 4, Mad Max, Rage 2) launched a mysterious new first person shooter. It is being developed by their department called "Systemic Reactions", who previously worked on Generation Zero.
A first person shooter with horror elements?
There is not much to see yet. The 28-second trailer begins with a tracking shot of a snow-covered cave entrance. This is followed by a short snippet by the player shoots at barely recognizable monsters with an assault rifle
So we assume that the upcoming game is one Horror shooter could act. There are no details about the gameplay or the story yet. Likewise, it is currently still unknown when further information on the title will be published.
What did Avalanche develop before?
Generation Zero was released in March 2019 and combines survival gameplay with an open game world in Sweden in the 1980s. After the entire population has disappeared, enemy machines roam the streets
The Reviews of the title were mixed. We ourselves gave the game 61 points in the test. On Steam, it received positive ratings from 63 percent of all buyers. It is particularly often emphasized how monotonous the gameplay is and that the title still looks comparatively unfinished. We also took a look at the release version that could not convince us:

Especially in the recent past outweigh the positive opinions however and state that the game has improved a lot compared to the original release version. The game experience in co-op should now be worthwhile.
In addition to Generation Zero, the Avalanche Studios or Avalanche Studios are also for Mad Max, the Just Cause series and the first-person shooter Rage 2 responsible, which was created in cooperation with the Doom developers id Software.
