Rick & Morty and High on Life lose their creator

Adult Swim, the American broadcaster Rick and Morty in fact, many years ago has just split from Justin Roiland following allegations against the latter. Rick & Morty however, is not in danger, and the series continues without its co-creator. As a result, the voices of the characters dubbed by Roiland will soon have to be changed.

At the same time, Roiland was pressured to leave his video game development studio, Squanch Games.
Founded in 2016 by Justin Roiland, the studio was the origin of games with such sour, trashy, and caustic humor Rick and Morty, if not even more. We think in particular of Trover Saves The Universe, an adventure / platform game playable in VR, or the current FPS high in life, which caused quite a stir when it was released exclusively on Xbox and PC. The two companies parted ways in a brief statement to update on the situation on Twitter.

The allegations are not new as the man already pleaded not guilty in late 2020, but the case was recently brought to light after the first hearings.
