The short-term future of Marvel Studios is starting to take shape. After the announcement of the new Avengers films and the news of negotiations to introduce Doctor Doom into the MCU, we now know that the House of Ideas is already planning the return of Fox’s X-Men, after a teaser in one of its latest films.
In an interview with the American media ComicBookthe actor Kelsey Grammer confirmed that he has held talks with Marvel Studios to return as Beastalthough he did not want to reveal more details to avoid conflicts with the company.
“There’s nothing I can talk about. What I do know is that there was a kind of huge outburst when I appeared at the end of The Marvels, I guess it was. The response was really almost… it wasn’t unexpected. There would be some response, but it was quite overwhelming, and that’s why there are some conversations.”

It is speculated that the X-Men could have a key role in the next two Avengers films, with Victor Von Doom as the main villain, which would cause a merger of the existing cinematic universes into Battleworld, culminating in the multiversal collapse. Avengers: Doomsday will land in theaters worldwide in May 2026, while Avengers: Secret Wars is set to premiere in May 2027.
