A familiar saying at home says that if a problem occurs twice, a third is likely to recur. What no one saw coming, however, is that Kena Bridge of Spirits is experiencing a new shift and is now inventing the phrase “never three without four”.

It has now been more than a year since the studio Ember Lab’s action-packed fantasy game first made its public debut. For a long time to the launch of the PS5 in late 2020, the adventure had preferred to refer to the first quarter of 2021 before settling on August 24, a date that seemed fixed and final.

But the plans have changed once again since Developers are now being forced to postpone Kena Bridge of Spirits for another month just to afford the brief amount of time it takes for their first vision to:

We had to make the difficult decision of postponing the release of Kena to September 21st in order to refine the game across all platforms. The team has worked extremely hard and we feel that this timeframe is critical to making sure the experience is as good as possible.
We know many of you are dying to play it, and we thank you for your patience as we continue to work to deliver the best version of Kena.
We can bet that developing the game across three different media has actually tested the developers’ nerves, and We will therefore have to wait until September 21st to discover the universe and the puzzles of Kena Bridge of Spirits on PC, PS4 and PS5. So, along with the many shifts the industry has to get used to, gambling continues to play a bit of a role, an obvious fact in such uncertain times.
Come on, it’s the one this time! Plus, Kena is worth one, isn’t it?
