Yes, we will lose the feeling of turning the paper pages of a book, but visually we really have the impression of having paper at the end of our finger.
In a 174 gram tablet with 6 inches, compact (160 x 113 x 8.7 mm) and 8 GB of memory almost 6000 titles fit. Enough to save you from lugging your huge book around on public transport or storing a bunch of books at home that are a bit too bulky.
For my part, the non-chunky side of the device really played a big part in my e-reader purchase. Plus, you still avoid moving a few very heavy boxes when moving!
Get an experience close to that of paper books with a Kindle
The display that the Amazon Kindle offers is very well optimized with multiple fonts and multiple shades of gray that you can modulate to make reading a little more comfortable.
Also note that the electronic ink used by the device helps reduce the harmful effects of blue light on the retinas of your eyes. Better to enjoy a literary work on an e-reader than on a smartphone or tablet.
The only flaw that we can find in this reader is that unfortunately the epub format is not compatible. But in itself this problem is not an obstacle, since it is still possible for you to convert an epub format to a mobi format via a free online converter.
However, the autonomy of the Kindle really makes the difference and allows you to last several weeks without having to recharge it.
Coming back to my personal experience, which I’d like to share with you, getting my reader a little over a year ago has helped me read a lot more.
I could take it in my bag to ride public transport on my way to work and I could read different types of books on it, even manga.
Suffice it to say that the complete collection of One Piece still takes up much less space in a small reader than in a city studio, frankly not very spacious!
