Anyone who invested a certain amount in the Kickstarter campaign for Kingdom Come: Deliverance in 2014 was supposed to receive a second act of the game. This never appeared, But developer Warhorse Studios has not forgotten the promise it made back then.
Kickstarter backers get part 2 for free
Reddit user Interinactive was amazed when he received an email in his inbox telling him that he could get Kingdom Come 2 for free.

The reason for this is his support in financing the first part. Once you reach a certain level, you will receive the sequel as a gift. The most loyal fans can choose between PC (Steam), Xbox Series X & S and PS5 as their platform.
With a Post via Xformerly Twitter, Warhorse Studios officially confirmed the information from the Reddit post.
Why is Warhorse giving away the game?
They are fulfilling a promise to provide the Kickstarter backers with a second act of the first part for free. However, this never appeared and the free sequel is supposed to make up for that.

Who gets part 2 for free?
All supporters from Duke level get the game. The following levels are included:
- Duke
- King
- Emperor
- Wenceslas the Lazy
- Pope
- Enlightened
- Saint
Prices ranged between 150 dollars and 6,000 dollars. Die Kickstarter page even reveals the exact number of lucky ones, there are a total of 1,036 of the more than 35,000 supporters
So if you supported Kingdom Come 1 with one of the levels mentioned above, you should check your emails. The keys for the selected platform will be sent to the email address registered with Kickstarter upon release.
There is currently no exact date for the release of Kingdom Come 2, but it is known that the release will take place in 4th quarter 2024 it’s planned.
