Warhorse has released the first major post-release patch for action-RPG Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, and it houses over 1,000 fixes and improvements, and it even includes a major feature as well.
With the update, players who aren’t fond of Henry of Skalitz’s look can now change it to what they want with the update’s free barbershop DLC.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 Update 1.2 Lets Players Change Henry’s Look
The barber can be checked out by players in Zhelejov and Kuttenberg. Interestingly enough, players who get a haircut or get it styled will even get a temporary boost in their Charisma.
The other major addition in this patch is official mod support. While there have been third-party mods for Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 since release, this makes it official and players can download mods directly from the Steam Workshop. This also lets players share their creations a whole lot easier to other players, too.
1000+ Fixes And Improvements
Outside of those two new features, there are a ton of fixes and improvements included in KCD2 patch 1.2. There are over a thousand improvements touching on each game’s quest, balancing changes for armors, and much more. There’s a lot to take in, but some of the significant improvements from Warhorse we’ve seen from the patch include:
- Achievements – The difficulty of skill checks has been adjusted to unlock the “Close One” more reliably.
- Combat – Damage from hits from multi-hit combos has been buffed, and there are animation improvements for various combat actions.
- Quest Fixes – Over 50 quests have been fixed, with various bugs in each quest squashed.
- Visuals – Enabled Nvidia DLSS 4 Super Resolution and fixed various pop-ins, screen flickering and more.
- Skills & Perks – Rebalanced XP gain for Vitality, Agility, Thievery, Stealth, Marksmanship, Houndmaster, Horseriding, and more, Various issues connected with abilities have been sorted too
