The role-playing game Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning originally appeared almost 10 years ago, before a new edition followed last year. And now there will actually be a completely new expansion for the title!
In February 2012 – almost ten years ago – the role-playing game Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning was released, followed in autumn last year by a new edition for PS4 and Xbox One, which made it to the Switch this spring. Now the men from THQ Nordic are even going one better: The story of the hero without fate will continue.
With the Crystal Wars over and Gadlow defeated, the peoples of Amalur hoped that peace would come to their lands. And while there was indeed peace in Amalur, rumors of a new threat are circulating in the far west. In the icy mountains of Mithros there is none other than Telogrus, the awakening god of chaos, gathering followers and threatening to plunge the whole world into chaos.
This is exactly what the completely new expansion called “Fatesworn” is about, and it is supposed to be released before the deadline for a year. The add-on will be available from December 14th and attract RPG fans with fresh content. These include a new story campaign, a new area, numerous quests and orders, new chaos dungeons in Amalur, new gameplay mechanics, of course new weapons and armor, new finds and much more. The good piece is rounded off by a new soundtrack by the famous composer Grant Kirkhope.
The cost point for the expansion will be 19.99 dollars on PC, Xbox One and PS4; The prerequisite for playing is the possession of the main game Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning – the new edition from last year. It is currently not known whether the add-on will also be delivered for Switch.
