Nintendo released a demo Kirby and the Forgotten Land in the online store.
Switch owners interested in the game can now try it out ahead of the Switch’s March 25 release.
In a 3D platforming adventure, Kirby reaches the Uncharted and finds Waddle Dees kidnapped by a pack of beasts. To rescue Waddle Dees, Kirby sets out with Elfilin, whom he met in the New World.
Kirby possesses a range of abilities to fight enemies and navigate 3D environments. In a world where nature merges with past civilizations, you will face a variety of platforming challenges. As you set out to free Waddle Dees, you’ll find them imprisoned at a target point at the end of each stage. You’ll want to explore every nook and cranny, saving as many Waddle Dees as possible along the way.
There are new additions to his skills, including the drill copy ability, which allows you to go underground and attack enemies from below. There’s also the Ranger copy ability, which allows him to attack enemies at a distance.
The game also supports a co-op mode, in which a second player takes on the role of Bandana Waddle Dee who can perform various attacks with a spear.
In addition to the demo, a new overview trailer was released, which you can watch above.
