After Kirby’s 3D debut with Kirby and The Forgotten Land, Kirby fans just can’t get enough of the pink bubble balls.So, Nintendo has given ardent fans like me what they want Kirby’s Dream Buffetit has finally announced its release date.
In a tweet from Nintendo of America, a three-minute gameplay trailer for the title has been shown, and a release date has been announced as August 17, 2022. Just next week!
Needless to say, this year Kirby’s 30th anniversary has become a treat, and what better way to celebrate than a game where Kirby and friends can indulge in the treats they want and deserve?

While previous theories suggested Kirby’s Dream Buffet might bring the pink hero into a Fall Guys-style setting, this new gameplay trailer shows us exactly what to expect. While there are still similarities, dreaming a buffet wouldn’t hurt Kirby. Instead, they’ll inhale almost any sweet treat — strawberries — into the biggest and heaviest poyo.
The game will contain several modes, namely racing, battle royale and mini-games. Race will oversee Kirby and Co. Eat strawberries through a process, as fast as possible – as much as possible – to the end.
Battle Royale, on the other hand, will see Kirby and pals gather treats in designated areas. You can use the copy ability to secure victory and knock out other players. This is sure to catch fire. Finally, the mini-games function like a battle royale, minus the stress of being knocked down and having all the sweet strawberries stolen.
The Copy ability in Kirby’s Dream Buffet is very similar to the function in Kirby and The Forgotten Land, except that these special abilities are clearly related to food. Also, you can unlock new classes and cosmetics by collecting lots of strawberries in the game!
As for the multiplayer experience, Kirby’s Dream Buffet can be played online or locally, although couch co-op appears to only support two players at a time.
