Knockout City, which was published a few weeks ago, was also discussed at EA Play Live yesterday evening. This is now starting its second season and will receive fresh content in the course of this.
The dodgeball title Knockout City from Velan Studios and publisher EA goes into its second season in the coming week. The starting shot should therefore be given on July 27, 2021.
The new season includes a new map with ever-changing movie-inspired arenas, a new ball, new playlists, equipment, rewards and more. Because of the film borrowings, this is also called “fights in the cinema”.
The new map is Holowood Drive-In. The playing fields, based on films, change in real time, for example from the “Cathedral of Horror” to the “Bridge of Love”. The new soda ball ensures that screens are partially covered by sticky soda. The equipment is also sometimes given a film design and provides a fresh look.
Up to street rank 25, Knockout City can still be tried out free of charge. The title also features cross-play and cross-platform progression. The game is available for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, Origin, Steam, Epic Games Store and, thanks to backward compatibility, also for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.
