Developer Velan Studios and publisher EA jointly announced the fourth season in the Dodgeball title Knockout City. This starts in the new month of December and brings aliens with it.
The starting shot for Season 4 in Knockout City should therefore be given on December 7th. Then it starts with “Alien Invasion” – and as the title suggests, you will deal with all sorts of unknown beings in the world of team-based play.
You have to try to save your city from the invaders, but you will encounter a number of obstacles in the process. The city police commissioner has mobilized the Knockout City Defense Force to fight these intergalactic invaders, and the DJ has teamed up with a mysterious caller to connect with the cosmic creatures and learn more.
Separated from the topic, there is of course new game content in Season 4, including a new map, vehicles, events and more. The main gameplay content is officially stated as follows:
- A new map: Alien Butterflies – The players find themselves on a floating farm, over which a number of UFOs have crashed. A unique mechanic is introduced on this map, in which rowdies can jump on flying saucers and soar over abysses at lightning speed without losing the ball’s charge.
- New events and playlists – Players can get ready for anything in season 4 thanks to almost non-stop events and further action in new playlists. In the coming months there will be four new, two-week events in Knockout City, each with a completely new game mode, each with its own exclusive rewards.
- A brand new hooligan pass – In season 4, all players start again at level 1 and work their way through 100 new levels with which the rowdies can unlock numerous new, exclusive alien rewards. There will be five weekly contracts, new Holobux offers and more. In addition, players keep any rewards earned through previous Rowdy Passes.
- And much more – Players get access to the aliens’ UFOs, which they can use as crew vehicles, a new energy drink: the pass grenade, new bundles and items in the store that change every day.
