Game industry veteran Hideo Kojima is interested in developing more projects beyond video games.
This may not be a big surprise for anyone who has played a movie-inspired movie game. In the February edition of Famitsu (translated by DualShockers), Kojima and character artist Yiji Shinkawa describe what they want to do after the release of "Dead Strand".
Both sides said they wanted to make comics together, and artist Shinkawa said he wanted to work on a simulation project that he could directly touch. Kojima also said in an interview that he wanted to make a film featuring Xinchuan design, adding that he wanted to make anime-like works so that Xinchuan had the opportunity to create some mecha designs.
Kojima stated that Kojima is working on several game projects. One of them is a "big" game-although the exact content has not yet been revealed. He said game developers also want to develop smaller plot games and digital-only games.
This is not the first time Kojima has revealed his filmmaking plans. Last November, he confirmed to the BBC that Kojima would be involved in the film industry.
Kojima said in the documentary: "In the future, Kojima production companies will also start making movies." "If one person can do one thing well, then they should be able to do anything good."
"I think games will continue to be streamed in the coming years. Movies, plays and games will all be streamed, and you can enjoy them anytime, anywhere on your iPad or iPhone or screen. Drama will have to compete in the same space. I'm very interested in the upcoming new game format and that's what I want. "
