Last March 27, 2020, Last Oasis appeared in early access on Steam and had to close the servers shortly thereafter due to the huge influx of players. Now the mech survival title is back and must a bigger flood of players than ever before put.
We've decided to keep the servers running overnight, and if no major issues appear during that time, we will not be wiping your progress or shutting servers down anymore.
Thank you everyone for helping us with the test and all the support you've shown over the last week!

How many people play last oasis?
Just a few days after the first release, Last Oasis player numbers skyrocketed. On March 29th almost 26,000 users logged in at the same time reached the first peak.
Then the numbers collapse: Due to the heavy load, server problems occurred and the developer was forced to take the title offline again. Refunded buyers were offered refunds.
You have been able to play last oasis again since April 5th and the short break didn't hurt the numbers. On the contrary, it wasn't until the early morning of April 6th that the game set a new personal record: 33,104 users were online at the same time.
Of the However, developers remain cautious and wants to "watch the situation". However, if there are no new problems, you want to keep the servers running and not reset the progress of the players.
Steam ratings remain low
Since Last Oasis is back online, the game has collected a lot more positive than negative reviews on Steam. The overall rating remains for the time being, however, with only 57 percent benevolent opinions on "balanced".
A common criticism of Last Oasis is that after leaving the beginner zone you quickly reach the goal of high-ranking players and thus Victim of griefing will. Also criticized is that you can lose any progress through forced PvP.
The premise of surviving with a mobile mech base in an end-time world inspires many users. In addition, it is often mentioned that last oasis is "much more fun" in a group, since this also offers a certain security against enemy players.
