Last Oasis is struggling with big problems at the start of early access. The survival MMO sold very well on Steam, but many players couldn't log in at all. In order to find the cause of the problem – and to fix it – the developer decided to take a drastic step: All servers are taken offline for seven days. For disappointed buyers there are refunds, regardless of how much playing time they already have.
As the project manager of the indie team Donkey Crew announced in a video message to the fans, they tried day and night to get the servers up and running. Now the employees need sleep and a break. You can see the complete video here:

All Refund applications should be accepted without problems, he made it clear:
"» Many of you said that now is not the right time to launch an early access game and we totally agree. It is absolutely not the right time to launch an early access game. So we decided that anyone who is unsatisfied with the current state of the game should get a full refund regardless of their game hours. «"
Player ratings dropped
The bumpy launch frustrated many players. Currently 57 percent of all user reviews on Steam are negative. Most of them base their criticism on massive login problems, some report that they tried unsuccessfully for more than 20 hours to get into the game.
The basic idea of Last Oasis, on the other hand, gets a lot of praise: You build a mobile base in which you move around, collect resources, craft and try to escape the scorching sun of a post-apocalyptic earth. Last Oasis is currently offline, but in theory you can still buy it on Steam.
