The long-running MOBA League of Legends is once again getting a new champion: Aurora will be making the mid lane unsafe in the future.
In the upcoming patch 14.14, Riot Games is once again providing new champions for the long-running League of Legends. Aurora, a rabbit vastaya, will be the new mage to take over the mid lane in the MOBA.
Aurora was born into the vastaya tribe of Bryni, who live in the village of Aamu in the Freljord. From birth, she was able to see the veil between the real world and the world of spirits, which was home to supernatural beings with whom she quickly became friends. Determined to learn more about her ethereal friends, Aurora began her long journeys through the Freljord. Along the way, she encountered many different spirits, including the forgotten demigod Hestrelk, also known as Haestryr. The two became friends and Aurora set a new goal: to become strong enough to help her new friend.
In the game, this story is expressed in the fact that Aurora can also switch to a spirit mode. According to official information, her skills are as follows:
-
Passive Ability – Spirit Abjuration – When Aurora damages an enemy three times with attacks and spells, she deals magical damage and summons a spirit that grants her various bonuses.
-
Q – Twofold Hex – Aurora fires a beam of cursed energy that damages and marks enemy champions. Aurora can end the curse and call the energy back to herself, dealing magic damage to all enemies hit.
-
W – Across the Veil – Aurora jumps from the real world into the spirit world, making her invisible and entering spirit mode. The cooldown is reset when an enemy dies.
-
E – The Weirding – Aurora sends out a shockwave of spirit magic that deals magical damage over a large area and slows targets hit.
-
R – Between Worlds – Aurora sends out a wave of spirit magic that deals damage and slows targets hit. Within a certain area, the real world and the spirit world merge, granting Aurora an enhanced spirit mode and allowing her to jump from one end of the area to the other. Enemy champions who attempt to leave the area take damage, are slowed, and are pushed back to the center of the area.
