Riot Games wants to keep the players in the MOBA League of Legends in line in 2022 and has announced several new champions at the start of the latest season.
As is well known, Zeri will soon be a new ADC with an electrical focus in the MOBA perennial hit, which is supposed to make the bot lane unsafe in the future. But beyond that, Riot Games has a lot more planned.
In a live stream on the occasion of the start of the new season, the developer hinted at three more champions for the new year 2022 in addition to Zeri. The first protagonist is supposed to be a supporting character in the enchanter style, who this time gets a darker and more threatening setting than you might be used to from other characters of this kind. It is supposed to be a boss character who acts in the background in the action around the MOBA.
The next champion will be a little more conventional, according to lead champion producer Ryan Mireles. The evidence suggests that it is Runeterra’s Void, who will then wreak havoc in the jungle of League of Legends. Here, too, the official presentation remains to be seen for the time being.
According to Mireles, the unannounced third character is said to be “novel, very mysterious and not very traditional” on the bot lane. Until we find out more about the three, you can watch the champion trailer for the approaching Zeri again.
