Last but not least, extensive changes to the items have been announced, which should allow you to adapt your champions to any situation.
As far as the spin-off Teamfight Tactics is concerned, the “Fates” update should be available this month, which enriches the mystical world with the namesake fates and a new ranking arena. There are also new champions, attributes and little legends on board. The fate championship follows in spring; regional qualification rounds have already started.
In the further course of spring, good and bad will then compete against each other in a corrupted convergence in the course of the fifth set. And: There should be a new, faster mode in which games then no longer last 20 minutes.
Finally, there is the new League of Legends: Wild Rift. The regional open beta will continue here; In March, the spin-off will finally be launched on consoles and mobile devices in North America. Overall, Riot Games plans to bring the game to as many players as possible in the New Year. In the course of the year there will also be new content, most of which will revolve around events. The starting shot for the first ever ranking season will be given this week.
In 2021 – as in the early days of the PC version – two new champions will be released each month, including Katarina, Rammus and the updated Dr. Mundo already confirmed three. An ARAM mode is also in the works.
