Leaked Baldur's Gate 3 screenshots show turn-based battles and movie conversations

Several screenshots have just been leaked to Baldur's Gate 3, showing a new combat system and a close-up camera for dialogue.

Divinity: "Original Sin 2" is the only CRPG that can catch me correctly. One of the reasons is its systemic, turn-based combat. I like tactics and thoughtfulness very much, so I'm excited about a similar game used by Larion's next game, Baldur's Gate 3.

Another thing that often gets me off the CRPG is how different you are-how far away from action. Characters with small icons become blurry and you never really feel like you're talking to them.

The leaked screenshot of Gate 3 from Baldur via Resetera shows a close-up camera for multi-select dialogue, which is a great improvement on the genre standard in my eyes. Take a look at the leak screen below and let us know what you think.

You can now list Baldur's Gate 3 on Steam, and it's clear that it will get into early access sometime this year.
