At the start of the week, The Last of Us Part II was the victim of a major leak. The rumors evoked the act of an employee of Naughty Dog who acted out of revenge. Sony has finally how the situation this Friday, May 1.

They are our colleagues from GamesIndustry that Sony has addressed to silence the rumor. The manufacturer said it had identified the individuals responsible for the leaks, and stated that they were not related to Naughty Dog or Sony Interactive Entertainment..
No additional comments were made regarding the identity of the people who disseminated these videos, or the manner in which they are said to have obtained content obviously of internal origin, the investigation being still in progress. The track of revenge for bad working conditions in the Californian studio is therefore tinted, that of a security bypass and a malicious act a little more likely.
On this subject, Neil Druckmann, vice-president of Naughty Dog, screenwriter and co-director of the game, commented:
