If you’re an RGB fan and want beautiful colors all around your PC (in addition to inside), then Philips Hue is for you.
Two years ago, Philips introduced Play, an LED strip system for televisions that allowed colors to be synchronized with the on-screen display. In 2022, this product returns to adapt to the monitors of our PCs. Juggling story between immersion and aesthetics.
overall immersion ?
It’s actually quite simple to use, just attach the headband to the back of the screen, then sync everything to the Hue Sync app. Note that it is obviously also compatible with other applications such as Corsair iCue. Once it’s on, the LED strip will display colors that automatically adjust based on the content being broadcast. For example, if you are observing a fire scene, mainly orange light with nice nuances will be diffused across the LED.
It’s not the first manufacturer to offer this type of product, as Corsair also has a range that even has its own family of lighting accessories for PCs.
Philips names the prices
This new range of Philips LED strips will be available from September 13th. It’s a bit steep for the price, as it’s still $169 for a 24- to 27-inch screen and $189 for a 32- to 34-inch screen.
