Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver is finally back! After years of waiting, the license gives its fans the ultimate gift: a collection of several fully remastered games.
Fans have been waiting for years and now it’s confirmed: Legacy of Kain, also known as Soul Reaver, is indeed returning from the dead. Legacy of Kain finally returns from the dead!
Remasters, as you call it, we’ve been eating them in every way for years, and if certain games sometimes make players cringe, others really seem to have their place. This is precisely the case with Legacy of Kain, a license forgotten for too long and demanded by fans for a very long time. They are now overjoyed, their wishes have been granted.
On the other hand, Crystal Dynamics, the studio behind the franchise, is not in the file because it is too busy with the next Tomb Raider. Responsible for this second life is Aspyr, a well-known studio that has notably brought Lara’s first three adventures back to life with Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered.
In addition, this is also a compilation of the first games to arrive with Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1-2 Remastered. As the long name suggests, it is a compilation of the first two adventures of the license. The studio has once again worked hard to revive a very popular license. The two games therefore come in a package fully optimized for PS4 and PS5.
State of Play wants to spoil players at the end of the year! Exclusivity will indeed return December 10, 2024 on PlayStation consoles. But fans don’t have to wait any longer: Pre-orders are now open.
