A few weeks ago, Riot Games announced an open beta test phase for the trading card game Legends of Runeterra. This promise has now been kept and the spin-off to the long-running League of Legends has actually been made accessible to all interested parties.
Last year, the LoL card game was tested twice as part of a preview version limited to a few selected participants. Those who have not yet had a chance to do so now have the chance to catch up on the world of LoR. All you have to do now is open an account at playruneterra.com create to get started free of charge.
Compared to the last version, the open beta has now undergone some additional improvements and new content has been donated. Among other things, a new ranking system has been introduced and the starting signal has been given for the first season in question.
In the course of the year, the full version for PC and mobile devices is to be launched, including cross-play between the platforms. There should be no further resets of player accounts; such a reset has now been made for the last time for the Open Beta.
