Gaming News LEGO Horizon Adventures aims to highlight the fun of an adventure for all audiences
A new Horizon game will be released on November 14, 2024. Only it’s not a third work, but LEGO Horizon Adventures. It revisits the universe of the franchise while trying to appeal to a new audience. In short, we explain everything to you in this JV Fast.
A few days ago Horizon: Zero Dawn Remastered was released. This week it is the turn of a building block game based around the franchise to take its first steps: LEGO Horizon Adventures.
A fancier feature
The game follows the story of Horizon Zero Dawnwithout mentioning the other titles in the franchise, in a more edgy tone that will make gamers of all ages smile. Everything is reflected in the different characters you can embody. Erend is a big eater and donut fan, Aloy is a ball of energy, while Varl spends his time being clumsy. If you haven’t played the original game, beware of spoilers. Even though the story is shortened with a 6-hour campaign, it still captures the main lines musical themes that will not be unfamiliar to you.
To make the game even more attractive and attract a new audience, LEGO Horizon Adventures put on Customization and decoration of villages/houses. There is a system of golden stones that we collect as we progress. The more the player gets, the more he can personalize his house, but also the outfits of his characters. We can then find Aloy in a hot dog outfit or even imagine Varl dressed as a chicken. In short, a lot of customization options are possible and you should know that the costumes are preserved during the cutscenes, which makes this tool even more interesting. if there is no impact on gameplay.
A rather simple leveling system
LEGO Horizon Adventures features a leveling system that allows you to gain attack and defense points as well as additional life hearts. These are very useful if you choose the highest difficulty level. The system is independent of each character. When Aloy evolves to the fifth level, Varl will not be directly at that level. You would have to play with it to increase it.
By choosing to simplify the gameplay as much as possible Horizon Zero Dawn, Guerila Games and Studio Gobo are trying to conquer a new audience with a two-player multiplayer mode for families and children. But be careful, since there are only 4 characters available, the game will certainly frustrate fans of LEGO works who are used to playing many protagonists. But it has many other advantages to offer, which you can find in our JV Fast at the beginning of the article!
