A new behind-the-scenes video highlighting the breadth and sense of freedom of content has been released LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
In the video, the development team shares the process of bringing the entire Star Wars galaxy to life by using versions of iconic locations found in the nine Skywalker saga films.
The video also showcases the work done in achieving weathering effects, distinguishing sky colors, and paying attention to details not seen in previous LEGO video games.
Skywalker Saga allows you to explore the hub world from familiar locations such as Naboo, Endor, Tatooine and Cloud City Bespin, and unlock new vehicles and playable characters including Mama the Hutt, Yaddle and Babu Frik.
You’ll also collect Kyber bricks on different planets as they are used as currency to enhance your character, from upgrading Force abilities to increasing your blasting firepower.
LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga releases April 5 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One consoles, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
If you plan to pre-order digitally, you’ll get early access to the Trooper Character Pack on launch day. The pack will be available to those who purchase the Character Collection Pass after a month, or it can be purchased separately.
Purchasing the digital version of the game will also include the classic Obi-Wan Kenobi as a playable character, and will not be available for purchase separately. The physical deluxe edition will include an exclusive LEGO Star Wars minifigure Luke Skywalker with a blue milk mustache.
