Perfomance? did you say power Lenovo just unveiled a Legion 7 laptop that notably features an overpowered Nvidia RTX 3080 ti.
If you are afraid of a laptop running out of power, you should know that Lenono just introduced 4 new laptops namely the Legion 7 and 7i and the Legion Slim 7 and Slim 7i. The most impressive of them in terms of performance is clearly the Lenovo Legion 7/7i, which is very premium.
Lenovo flexes its muscles
Lenovo lays the foundation with a housing made of aluminum and magnesium. 16″ format, IPS screen with 165 Hz refresh rate, Mini LED and QHD+ resolution. On the processor side we have the choice between AMD and Intel (Legion 7i for Intel), namely we can compete up to an Intel Core i9-12900HX or an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX, coupled with 32 GB of RAM in DDR5 4.800MHz.
You can also choose between two manufacturers for the graphics card, namely Nvidia or AMD. Either an RTX 3080 Ti or a Radeon RX 6850M, for example. Obviously, this is clearly enough to overheat the chassis in all of this. For this reason, Lenovo relies on a new cooling system based on a vapor chamber. Since the case is just under 2cm thick, it’s a must-have (also note that the device weighs 2.3kg).
A proud price
The Lenovo Legion 7 with an AMD processor will be available in July from 2599 dollars and the Intel version will be more expensive at 2999 dollars. Obviously, the version with an RTX 3080 Ti should significantly exceed this price.
