Lenovo unveils new Yoga devices at CES. Included: Yoga 9i 2-in-1 and 7i 2-in-1 for everyone who doesn’t want to choose between a notebook and a tablet. Convertibles can do that.

The Yoga portfolio that Lenovo is presenting at CES 2024 also includes new convertibles. Both the Yoga 7i 2-in-1 and Yoga 9i 2-1 can rotate 360 degrees to provide a tablet experience.
Both devices come with the new Lenovo Yoga Creator Zone, which, according to a press release from Lenovo, is installed on the latest Yoga notebooks with Windows 11. This gives you access to a generative AI that can convert descriptions and sketches into images.
Lenovo Yoga 9i 2-in-1: Kreativ-Convertible mit KI-Kern
Anyone who buys the Yoga 9i 2-in-1 doesn’t just get the device itself. In addition to the convertible, a Lenovo Smart Pen and a protective case are also included in the scope of delivery. The pen can be magnetically attached to the cover of the convertible.
For drawing, the Yoga 9i 2-in-1 has a 14-inch PureSight OLED screen available, which offers a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hertz. The brightness is 400 nits. The display supports multi-touch. Optionally, you can also choose a 4K resolution. The refresh rate then drops to 60 Hertz. By the way, there is also a small “soundbar” from Bowers and Wilkins that can be rotated 360 degrees.
Inside there is an Intel Core Ultra 7 (155H) in the Intel Evo Edition. It is supported by a dedicated Intel Arc graphics solution, a physical AI core from Lenovo and 16 gigabytes of RAM. You can have a maximum of one terabyte PCIe SSD Gen 4 M.2 installed for data storage. The battery has a capacity of 75 watt hours. In addition to the expected connectivity functions and ports, Lenovo actually not only installs USB-C and Thunderbold 4, but also a USB Type-A port.
The Yoga 9i 2-in-1 not only comes with AI software, but also has access to the Lenovo Premium Suite. This is a collection of productivity tools that aren’t available on the Yoga 7i 2-in-1. The AI image creation is also stronger on the Yoga 9i 2-in-1. Here, the dedicated Intel Arc graphics card provides the ability to influence the style of the image AI with your own models.
