If you plan on gaming, you better make sure you have some space on your PS5 propheticbecause the file size is not exactly small.
Arguably the biggest headache in any console gamer’s life when it comes to organizing a digital library is figuring out which games to keep downloading. It’s all because games these days are absolutely massive, and it turns out Forspoken is no exception.according to PlayStation game dimensions (Thanks to Push Square), Forspoken’s download size is currently a whopping 87.275 GB, apparently we don’t know if the game will get a one day patch.
Obviously, downloading some d ata and losing about half an hour isn’t the worst thing in the world, but with a game like Forspoken, you have to hope that losing that time is worth it. The ad showing the game last year was so bad that it immediately spawned a whole bunch of memes and piss (which Square Enix has seen, by the way), putting the game at a disadvantage.
Hopefully, the game itself is good, though, as Luminous Productions (the same team behind Final Fantasy 15) hopes Forspoken will solve the open world fatigue many of us have. Part of the process of trying to cure the disease was looking at games like Marvel’s Spider-Man and Ghost of Tsushima, because the team didn’t want to just focus on cool spells, they wanted traveling the world to be fun too.
Fans got a chance to try the game out for themselves thanks to a demo released in December, but some did have concerns about the lackluster side quests in said demo. Square Enix has clarified that the demo was only made specifically to give the game a feel, so don’t worry too much about what it will look like, as it won’t be an exact reflection of the final game.
