Good news LG G1 4K OLED TV on sale: more or less the same as a 2022 LG C2 for a lot less
If you’re looking to buy a 4K TV, you’re certainly well-informed by the question. So, like any informed person, you probably already know that LG is the reference brand when it comes to 4K OLED TVs and that the G1 is the queen of 2021. With the 2022 models coming (and quite expensive), it’s now or never 4K OLED with an Evo panel at an affordable price. We tell you everything.
End of stock on the LG G1, time to have a 4K OLED TV at the best price
Let’s start with a little reminder, not everyone knows the famous LG G1. According to LG itself, it was the brand’s best 4K OLED TV last year. LG is the reference manufacturer when it comes to OLED, making it the best 4K OLED TV.
We’ll talk more about the characteristics of this war machine a little further down. For now, remember that you have one Dolby Vision / Atmos certification, 4 HDMI 2.1 ports, a particularly bright OLED Evo panel … in short, it’s the crème de la crème.
LG is currently rolling out its TV range for 2022. Surprisingly, the introductory prices have been raised significantly compared to last year. We understand why: shortages, war, rising energy and transport prices, health crisis… You get it.
To welcome the novelty, the various retailers are emptying their last stocks of 2021 LG 4K OLED TVs. We are therefore entitled to some pretty crazy prices on these products. In addition, the G1 is already sold out at many retailers.
So you really don’t have much time to enjoy the best TVs of the moment at a good price! As a reminder, the 55-inch G1 was sold for $1,599 not so long ago. The 65-inch version was offered for 2,299 dollars.
Amazon has a very good price for the G1 so we’ll send you a link. Fnac also offers a pretty interesting promo. From Friday April 1st at 5pm to Monday April 4th at 1pm, the French retailer is giving away $10 vouchers for every $100 spent to all Fnac+ members (a card that costs just $9 in the first year costs).

That’s why the LG G1 is certainly the best OLED TV to buy in April 2022
Aside from the rising price, the main change this year in LG’s flagship range (the C range) is the arrival of the Slab OLED Evo, 20% brighter than in the past. The thing is, that Evo panel was already present on a 2021 TV.
You got it, it’s the famous G1, offered today at a much lower price than the C2, while the screen is exactly the same. FYI, the 65″ C2 is available for $2699.
With prices rising and the current state of the market, we strongly advise you to buy a G1 over a C2 if you want an excellent 65-inch 4K OLED TV. Or we’ll have to wait for the price of the C2 to come down…until the C3 is announced…in 1 year. It depends on you !
In terms of features, what can we say other than finding ourselves on one of the best TVs out there for absolutely all uses? Play? You have HDMI 2.1, HDR, 4 HDMI 2.1 ports and a 120Hz panel for maximum fluidity, a ridiculous response time for a TV … it’s perfect.
Movie theater ? With LG’s OLED Evo panel, you can enjoy infinite contrast, more than adequate brightness and ultra-rich and accurate colors. The TV is obviously compatible with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos … It’s the ultimate 4K experience.
To see the 65-inch G1 at this price point is just awesome. Take advantage before stocks run out and retailers finally move on to the next generation of LG TVs.
