Keep you safe
You should currently protect yourself from the fake Lidl contest, which will be sent via email and WhatsApp. It tries to lead you to the dangerous side. We will tell you how to successfully expose fraud.
In March 2020, we reported on a fake match named Lidl. As a result, hundreds of readers forwarded fraud attempts to us, and showed the diversity of sender addresses. The game is also sent via WhatsApp. If we first assume that the fake senders of Deutsche Bank are always used to distribute emails, then we can find the following hypothetical trusted senders:
- Spicy honey
- Worldview
- Online Home
- Self-defense force
- Taste of home
- Deutsche Bank
The corresponding company will not be hacked, and will only use the sending address with the corresponding name. Criminals are still using "Congratulations! You are attracted to be the winner of our monthly LIDL competition (the name of the recipient)" The email text also remains unchanged:
Congratulations!
Hello (recipient name),
Congratulations! You are attracted as the winner of our monthly LIDL competition
Click the link below to find the price for this month.
Confirm your identity and then indicate where we should send your price.

Our entire LIDL team will warmly congratulate you!
If you check the link that can be accessed by "click here", you will be taken to the fake Lidl page. You can recognize this from the "fishmasterplan" field, which you can read in your email program. In addition, you will be asked to confirm your identity in an email. If you read such a request in an email, it is usually always phishing.
WhatsApp version attracts a profit of 250 Euros
If you forward the Lidl contest to you through WhatsApp, you should also be very careful. There are many articles on the Internet about forgery games, which will promise you more than 250 euros in prize money. You will also find dangerous links here.
Of course, you should not click on this link, and please warn the person who sent you the message. This message is related to fake mail, which is not completely understandable. However, as an interesting option, you can have an "accept challenge" chat with WhatsApp.
You absolutely have to consider
Therefore, under no circumstances should you click on links or enter data on the page. Otherwise, you will face identity theft and many other phishing emails. Instead, just delete the email and forward it and all other suspicious emails to the following address:
Have you received a suspicious email?
Phishing list
-
Misspell? -
Do you require sensitive data? -
The official logo? -
Unknown sender?
