those who wish to leave The Sims 4 Paradox Interactive Upcoming life is up to you Will have to wait a little longer as the life simulation has been delayed again.

Life by You was originally scheduled to release a month later on March 5, but a new blog post from Paradox confirms that the game’s Early Access release has been pushed back a further three months. Now, the upcoming Rival Edition of The Sims will be released on June 4th. This marks the second delay for the game, which was originally expected to release last September but was later pushed beyond that release date.

The blog post explains the reason behind the delay, writing that the decision is “rooted in our commitment from the beginning of Early Access to creating a fun game and an enjoyable player experience. We’re as excited as anyone else.”

The Q&A also provides upfront answers to various questions you may have, further detailing the reasoning behind the additional development time. First of all, the game will still be an Early Access version, so don’t expect it to be fully finished by June. Specifically, dealing with some bugs is one of the main aspects the game will be working on in the coming months, along with overall performance and stability.

Paradox also wants to work on Life By You’s character art because it “hasn’t reached the quality standards we’ve set for ourselves yet,” although the studio is happy with the many improvements it’s made. This means it plans to work on things like proportions, character idle and facial animation, reduced clothing cuts, and smoother animation transitions.

On top of that, Paradox also plans to work on improving the build mode, various gameplay improvements, and modding tool availability. The full blog post also touches on things like pre-order bonuses, and a few other details, so it’s worth a read if you’ve been looking forward to Life by You.

If you’re curious about where the game is going, Paradox showed off Life By You’s Build Mode last October.
