Beginning February 1, 2022, Life is Strange: Remastered Collection will be available on all scheduled platforms except for the Switch. In a video, the anticipation is fueled further and the optimizations are presented in detail.
Square Enix has released a longer Life is Strange: Remastered Collection video detailing aspects of the remastered versions of the award-winning adventure games. As is well known, the good piece will be available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, GeForce NOW and Google Stadia from February 1st and will then deliver all sorts of innovations compared to the original games.
Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm are now displayed in up to native 4K resolution based on Unreal Engine 4. A newly designed lighting technology as well as updated and partly new 4K-ready character models with an increased number of polygons should also ensure more visual enjoyment.
In order to draw you even more into the story, the creators have also given all character models more emotional and expressive animations. The hair movements are more natural and tears, injuries and more should be shown even better and more realistically. Above all, Nathan and Chloe should also benefit from the revised facial expressions.
Rounding out the theme of technical improvements are new lip-sync animations throughout, new landscape materials for reflection and textures, and revised models for key items.
