Game news Life is Strange Remastered Collection will be postponed for several months

The Life is Strange Remastered Collection will not be released on September 30th. In a message posted on Twitter, the developers explain why they decided to postpone the game’s arrival while making an appointment.

At E3 2021 during the Square Enix conference, two Life is Strange games were announced: Life is Strange: True Colors and Life is Strange: Remastered Collection. The two titles were scheduled for September 10 and September 30, respectively, but Life is Strange: Remastered Collection is being postponed by the developers. partly because of the health crisis. They explain it on Twitter:

Given the current challenges of the pandemic, we want to avoid putting additional pressure on the Life is Strange team. That’s why we’re giving them more time between the release of True Colors and the Remastered Collection. In this direction, we made the difficult decision to postpone the release of the Remastered Collection on all media until the first half of 2022.

However, the team responsible for the game states that True Colors is still scheduled for September 10th and that a DLC called Wavelenghts will focus on the character of Steph Gingrich and is also scheduled for September 30th. A first trailer illustrating a preview of the game is due to be revealed today.

As a reminder Life is Strange: Remastered Collection is a compilation of the updated Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm games. It’s slated for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Stadia, and Switch in early 2022.
